BYD Auto NZ is continuing to expand its authorised dealer network across New Zealand, bringing world-leading electric and super hybrid vehicles closer to more Kiwi communities than ever before.

With 19 showrooms already operating nationwide, BYD Auto NZ has announced six additional dealership locations set to open in the coming months, reinforcing its commitment to making innovative New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology more accessible across the country.

Strengthening Regional Coverage

As demand for electric and super hybrid vehicles continues to grow, BYD is expanding its footprint to provide greater access to vehicle sales, servicing, parts and aftersales support throughout New Zealand.

New dealership locations include:

• BYD South Auckland – Opening 7 July at 686 Great South Road, Manukau
• BYD Pukekohe – Opening 1 July at 6 Svendsen Road
• BYD Wellington CBD – Opening mid-July at 55 Featherston Street
• Adventure Motors Wairarapa – Opening in Q3 2026
• BYD Hornby, Christchurch – Opening soon
• BYD Invercargill – Opening soon

These new sites will complement BYD's existing nationwide network, helping ensure customers can access expert support no matter where they live.

New Flagship Facility for South Auckland

One of the most significant additions is BYD South Auckland, a purpose-built facility operated by the Andrew Simms Group.

Located in Manukau, the 10,000-square-metre site will feature a state-of-the-art showroom alongside dedicated aftersales facilities, creating a premium ownership experience for customers throughout South Auckland and beyond.
